Kent, WA:  Seattle Bike Supply has teamed up with Answer BMX Products for aftermarket distribution. After a successful relationship with Answer BMX Products using their carbon fiber Scythe forks on Redline's highend 2010 race bikes, the two companies felt it would be a good partnership to also have Seattle Bike Supply distribute their aftermarket  products to Seattle Bike Supply’s National group of dealers.

The first batch of Answer BMX items are just arriving at SBS' four warehouses - in California, Ohio, Texas and Washington.

"I've always been a big fan of Redline and SBS," said Answer's Ryan Birk. "From my days at Sun Ringle’, I'm familiar with the SBS staff and the positive way they do things. In BMX, it's pretty rare to find such professionalism. I know that to make it in the BMX world, for us and our dealers, it really helps to be involved with a reliable company like SBS."

We received another submission in our talent search for a new Answer BMX Pro.  This one came to us from Toddler Juicebox but we’re not sure we can use him on the team as his nap time is during when semis and mains usually go down.

With Answer/Supercamp Pros Bubba Harris and Lee Lewis both out of action after going down and breaking shoulders on back to back laps at the Winter Nationals in Phoenix last month, and the constant threat of Deak Brown possibly retiring from BMX to pursue a career in modeling, we decided to hold an open “tryout” for some new team pros.  Let’s just say that the list of “talent” trying out for the team and the other recent submissions are very, very entertaining.  Take a look at the video and see for yourself.

At the ABA Silver Dollar National in Reno this past weekend, one of the Steel Wheels Indoor (Portage, Indiana) local riders, and a friend to all, Ken Nork, broke his neck during the 2nd round of competition and the medical word is not good. Evidently the injuries that Ken sustained have left him paralyzed.

There are many fundraising efforts being launched to aid the family....the first being this weekend with the Annual Steel Wheels' Answer Winter Supercamp.

The fine folks at Answer Supercamp will be donating a portion of all camp fees to the Nork family which is much needed in this terrible time of recovering from this tough accident.

The Steel Wheels staff family will also be having a bake sale at the regular Saturday night race.

If you are in the area and can make the camp, you can get some great training tips from Burlin Harris and the Answer Supercamp staff, PLUS, you'll be helping out the Nork family.

Stick around, race the Saturday evening race, grab some of the tasty baked goods that Jackie Althizer and the Steel Wheels Bakers will be showcasing and we can help together to aid a BMX family that has a tough road ahead of them.

Don't forget, there is still room available in the camp...and people can call Jackie Althizer to reserve a spot.
